Measure your horse's leg area for intended use and match to correct size:

  • S - 25cm
  • M - 27cm - No longer available
  • L - 29cm

Usage Information:

  1. Worn in a high impact area so we can't stop damage (to reduce the chance of damage, place higher up the legs, use in stable only etc.).
  2. Attach both wraps to either the front or hind legs.
  3. Response times vary; some owners report changes in as little as a few hours, others after several weeks.

Check Your Discs to Maintain Performance:

How Long Will the Pastern Wraps Last?

The average lifespan of the Mylar disc in our pastern wraps is 12-18 months. Over time, you will notice the disc starting to dissolve and lose its holographic appearance. When this happens, it's time to replace the pastern wrap.

Are the Pastern Wraps Waterproof?

Yes, both our pastern wraps are 100% waterproof, making them suitable for use in various weather conditions without losing effectiveness.

How Should I Use the Pastern Wraps?

Placement: They can be worn around either fore or hind legs and placed either above or below the fetlock joint, or as close to an issue/injury as possible. Your horse will get the best result when wearing on all four legs.

Wet Conditions: When turned out in wet and muddy conditions, the wraps should be placed high above the fetlock or removed.

24/7 Use: Can be worn 24/7.

Additional Protection: A few layers of vet-wrap over the top can be used if turned out in soft muddy conditions. Note that deluxe pastern wraps should be used alongside prescribed medications and not as a substitute.
